503,459. Valve amplifying circuits. LORENZ AKT.-GES., C. July 6 1938, No. 20014. Convention date, July 6, 1937. Drawings to Specification. [Class 40 (v)] In a multi-stage amplifier particularly of the Class B type using a push-pull output, losses in the driving stage coupling are reduced by providing two or more individual transformers for each valve of the push-pull stage. The transformer primaries are connected in series in the anode circuit of the driving stage which is preferably a single valve. The series arrangement of transformers may also be used to match resistances or four pole networks operating at high frequency, each of the transformers transmitting only a portion of the energy. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91, comprises also the use of an individual transformer for each valve of the push-pull stage. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
