[Class 7 (ii).] The exhaust manifold of a two-stroke radial-cylinder engine comprises an annular passage 10 which is subdivided by a multithreaded - screw baffle 11, and has connections 1 .. 9 to individual cylinders so arranged that no mutual interference in the exhaust flow takes place. Walls 12, adjacent the exit pipes, prevent reversal of flow.
