[Class 138 (i)] [See also Groups XXVII, XXVIII, and XXXVIII] Gases from the exhaust-pipe 10 of a motor vehicle pass through a chamber 21 into a Venturi tube 11, formed at the constriction 11<a> with openings 13, 14, into which air is drawn through a port 18 in a tube 40 surrounding the Venturi, the port 18 being connected by a pipe 17 and pipe 20 to a windscreen-wiper, and by a pipe 18<a> to the induction manifold.
