443,769. Purifying exhaust. BLUM, R., Hotel Waldorf-Astoria, Park Avenue, New York, U.S.A. Oct. 11, 1935, No. 28139. [Class 7 (ii)] Air is admitted to the exhaust gases by passages H leading into a cup or funnel D into which also enters a nozzle C conveying a part of the exhaust gases. A Venturi G is inserted in the exhaust pipe B, and a second Venturi J may be arranged as shown. The air inlets may be controlled by shutters or flaps actuated by the accelerator. Specification 424,731 is referred to.
