Abstract
360,686. Exhaust silencers. BARRINGHAUS, P., 4, Bergstrasse, Witten, Ruhr, Germany. Nov. 20, 1930, No. 34941. [Class 7 (ii).] The silencer is made in halves 1, each of which is so formed by stamping and drawing that, when the halves are assembled, the complete silencer comprises a series of chambers communicating with one another by means of nozzles 2 the size of which decreases from chamber to chamber towards the outlet end.
