Exhaust-silencers.-A silencer comprises a central inlet tube 2 with longitudinal slots a, b, a double-coned member 4 with perforations f, g, in a radial plane at right-angles to that of the slots, and an outer casing 5 having an outlet 6. The casing 5 is detachably secured upon the tube 2 by a screwed plug 3.
