Exhaust-silencers. - A silencer comprises a tubular casing c with flared tubes or partitions d, axially disposed in the casing with a clear passage from end to end, the larger ends of the tubes d being directed towards the exhaust inlet a. The smaller ends are preferably not less in diameter than the exhaust pipe.
