160,334. Read, D. Jan. 24, 1920. Exhaust-silencers.-A silencer comprises perforated cones B fitted in the exhaust pipe A, which is of the ordinary diameter without any enlargement. The cones have collars E fitting the exhaust pipe and are mounted upon a steel tube C. The apex of the cone may be rounded.
