366,312. Injectors and ejectors. BORNECKE, R. and BORCHART, F., (trading as BÍRNECKE & BORCHART), 41, Billerbeckstrasse, Witten, Ruhr, Germany. March 2, 1931, No. 6466. Convention date, March 1, 1930. [Class 71.] In injectors and ejectors wherein the inducing and induced media are under the same static pressure, and the energy of flow of the inducing medium is employed for aspirating the induced medium, the regulation for the purpose of adjusting the mixing conditions is produced by modifying the pressure of the induced medium by utilizing the kinetic energy of the inducing-medium. In the construction shown in the Figure, a tube 6 with apertures 7, 8 registers with the inducing-fluid supplied through passage 1 and with the induced fluid in chamber 2 connected to the nozzle 5. The pressure in chamber 2 is varied by rotating the tube 6. Modified forms of nozzles with the apertures therein differently spaced are described.
