Abstract
271,706. Schmid, F. Nov. 26, 1925. Spray burners.-In apparatus for generating a mixture of combustion products and steam intended particularly for use in torpedoes, liquid fuel supplied through a pipe H is drawn through a burner and atomized by air supplied under pressure through a pipe T. The air flows through passages V in the burner and draws in fuel through passages H', H". Further air for combustion is supplied through openings I in the mouth of the burner. Ignition burners are fitted in apertures D.
