Abstract

262,836. Knudsen, H. June 23, 1925. Spray burners; liquid fuel supply.-A boiler adapted to operate above critical temperature and pressure is fitted with a burner of the kind described in Specification 258,657. Superheated steam generated in a coil 16 is injected into the flame close to the burner jet. The air and fuel are heated in annular passages 8, 4 in the burner by steam coils.
