Working-fluid supply.-Gas under pressure for driving a turbine &c. is generated by injecting liquid fuel through a pipe 2 into a chamber 1 which is kept incandescent. The vaporized fuel passes through a nozzle 3 into an injector tube 4 in which combustion takes place. A plurality of pipes 2 and orifices 3 may be provided.
