Abstract
204,881. Lis, F. Sept. 20, 1922. Addition to 191,126. Spray burners. - The burner of the parent Specification is modified (1) by making the passage 14 leading the fuel and air or steam mixture from the revolving atomizing cylinder 4 to the nozzle plate 16 tapered in horizontal section towards the front of the burner; (2) by restricting the mixture outlet to a few diverging passages 15 formed in the lower middle portion of the nozzle plate 16; and (3) by arranging the oil supply inlet 13 tangentially in respect to the atomizing cylinder. The flame is spread over a lip 1<a> by air or steam supplied through a slit 17 at the end of a fan-shaped duct 18 which is connected to the main air or steam inlet passage 12.
