Abstract

302,794. Nicol, A. Dec. 5, 1927. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Dispensing liquids. - Water from the ordinary drinking supply is aerated by a jet apparatus during the period of outflow and may be mixed with lemonade extracts &c. before reaching the outlet nozzle. The water from a pipe 30 passes through a jet 15 on turning a handle 4 and draws carbon dioxide with it from a supply pipe 31. The gas and water are intimately mixed by baffle plates 18 in a chamber 14, and pass up through a passage 37 into a mixing chamber 40, to which the lemonade extract &c. may be led at the same time by a pipe 44. In a modification the water is led in at the base of the chamber 14 and the mixing chamber 40 is omitted.
