181,573. Stinson, H. S. May 10, 1921. Mixing and agitating apparatus; injector apparatus.-An apparatus for carbonating liquids consists of a closed container 1, within which is situated a mixing chamber 15 provided with adjacent nozzles 6, 8 for the admission of water and gas respectively and with outlet pipes 17 extending from the base of the mixing chamber to near the top of the container. The gas inlet pipe 7 may be placed concentrically within the water pipe 5, and the nozzle may be fitted with an adjustable needle valve 12. The carbonated liquid is drawn off through a pipe 18, in which a small hole 19 is pierced to permit the escape of accumulated gas in the container.
