No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). valves, arrangements and actuation of. - A compressor with horizontally opposed cylinders and a single crank is provided with inlet valves in the pistons each adapted to be opened by a projection in the small end of the connecting rod. A crank 11 is coupled by connecting rods 10 to the pistons 6 which have cup-shaped packing 8 and spring-pressed valves 7 adapted to be opened by projections 14 on the rods. The cylinder heads have valves 4, 4<1> leading to a common duct 15 in the base which has a safety valve 12 and a nozzle 13 for tubing.
