464,465. Compound air compressors. JENNINGS, W. F. Oct. 9, 1936, No. 27464. Addition to 464,410. [Class 8 (i)] During the suction stroke of the highpressure cylinder, compressed air or gas is admitted, e.g. from the crank case, before the wall port opens to receive compressed air &c. from the low-pressure cylinder, which is fitted with a single reciprocating sleeve valve having inlet and outlet ports. The crank case may be connected with the highpressure cylinder by a pipe leading to a valve in the cylinder head, or through a valve in the head of the trunk piston.
