Abstract

208,670. Hill, P. March 9, 1923. Slides valves, flat and piston.-An engine has an open-ended cylinder A in which reciprocated pistons E, F connected by rods J. G guided by a crosshead and brackets H respectively to connecting-rods 0, K driving a three-throw crankshaft. Fluid pressure is supplied to the engine by an eccentric-operated flat valve C and is exhausted through a piston-controlled, cylinder port T. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 1781 /74 and 6151/00.
