Abstract
309,738. Kondo, R. April 16, 1928. Four-stroke-cycle engines.- Air is supplied by a blower 9 at the end of the power stroke, that retained after closing of the terminal exhaust port 7 being compressed on the succeeding up-stroke. At the end of the next down stroke mixture pre-compressed in the crank case enters the cylinder; both air and mixture flow are controlled by a valve 11 sliding parallel to the cylinder axis and at half piston speed.
