Abstract

247,186. Siemens Schuckertwerke Ges. Feb. 5, 1925, [Convention date]. Working-fluid supply.-In the method of generating steam wherein water maintained at least at the critical pressure is heated to at least the critical temperature in a boiler 3, and wherein the steam is withdrawn through a pressure-reducing device, the pressure reducing device consists of an auxiliary turbine 8 or other engine, which may be used for driving the feed-pump 17. The steam is passed through a superheater 4 before entering the main turbine 9.
