Steam from the boiler flows through the superheater 2 and through a stage superheater 3 back to the flue-gas heated resuperheater 6 before passing to the highpressure stage 4. A surface heat exchanger 7 serving as a cooler is arranged in the circuit before the re-superheater 6 and is fed with feedwater from the boiler 1 through a pipe 8 provided with a regulating valve 9. The saturated steam generated in the cooler is supplied to the circuit at 10.
