Abstract
266,320. Siemens - Schuckertwerke Ges. Feb. 17, 1926, [Convention date]. Working-fluid supply; regulating.-In a steampower installation with inter stage superheating, the working-steam is superheated by steam tapped from a higher temperature and pressure stage of a prime mover. In the example, shown in Fig. 1, the exhaust, steam from the stage II passes through the superheater 3 which is heated by steam tapped from the first stage I, before passing to the stage III. Similarly the steam passing from stage III to stage IV traverses the heater 4 which is heated by steam tapped from the stage II. In the example shown in Fig. 2, the interstage heaters 9, 10 of a turbine 8 with stages V, VI and VII are heated by steam tapped from the stages of a. high pressure turbine 7.
