Working-fluid supply. - In a multiple stage steam-power plant comprising for example turbines 5, 6, 7 in series, the first intermediatesuperheater 9 is heated by live steam which is drawn from the boiler main 4 by a pipe 11 and is condensed in the superheater, and the second reheater 10 is heated by the condenser from the first superheater 9. The condensate is then returned to the boiler 1. A superheater 3 for the live steam is arranged in the furnace. The supply of super-heating steam, through the pipe 11 may be regulated by a valve 12 which is controlled by a flow-responsive device 13, 14 in the pipe between the stages 5, 6.
