218,320. Aktiebolaget Ljungstr÷ms Angturbin. June 29, 1923, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Working-fluid supply.-A control means for a steam turbine using high pressure and superheat is situated between the steam space for the saturated steam of the boiler and the superheater. The control means such as a throttle valve is therefore only exposed to saturated steam of moderate temperatures. The Figure shows control means 5a, 5b inserted in conduits leading from the boiler to superheaters 4a, 4b whence the superheated steam passes by conduits 6, 7 to a turbine 3. The steam may pass through a superheater before reaching the control but must not be dry.
