Rotary boilers; feed-water, supplying.-Steam generated in the feed-water heater of a rotary boiler is separated and led directly to the steam supply pipe, thus ensuring an undisturbed supply of water to the boiler. Hot water from a feed heater 2, Fig. 1, is supplied to the rotary boiler 7 through a vertical separating chamber 4 connected to the steam supply pipe 10 by a pipe 11. The feed pipe may open into a supply chamber 17, Fig. 2, connected to the steam supply pipe 22 by a pipe 23 having a U-shaped bend. A valve 21 maintains the pressure in the boiler above that in the steam supply pipe.
