Water-tube boilers.-The walls of the combustion chamber A situated below the steam-generator proper are partly formed of divided headers a having short projecting compound tubes b of the Niclausse type. Water flows from the drum C through a pipe c to collectors d and thence to the bottom of the headers a, and from the top of the headers to collectors e and thence by a pipe f to the drum.
