Water-tube boilers.-In a boiler comprising two upper and two lower transverse drums, the upper drums are connected by tubes serving to heat the feed-water, which is supplied to the tubes from a chamber over the ends of the tubes in the rear drum. The feed-pipe 7 is enclosed by an open-ended chamber 8 formed by a partition in the rear drum 3 over the ends of the feed-heating tubes 5.
