Mounting and supporting; working-fluid sup- T)ly.-A turbine is mounted directly on top of a boiler supplying steam to it and an intermediate stage of the turbine is provided with a reheater situated in the boiler. Steam generated in the water tubes 3 passes to a superheater 4 and thence to a high-pressure turbine 11 from which it is returned to a re-heater 17 before reaching a lower pressure turbine 13. At an intermediate point of the turbine 13 the steam is led to a re-heater 20. The high pressure turbine may be one utilizing steam at 1000 pounds and 750‹ F. and exhausting at 400-500 pounds and 500‹ F. and re-heated at 750‹ F. before admission to the turbine 13.
