Abstract

463,075. Steam turbines. LIVSEY, H. Sept. 24, 1935, Nos. 26447 and 26748. [Class 110 (iii)] [Also in Group XIII] Steam between the stages 3, 4 of a turbine is reheated in a heat-exchanger 6 by hot feedwater which is passed from the feedwater heater 7 through the heat-exchanger to the boiler drum 1, or circulated from the drum through the heatexchanger back to the feed heater. The hot feedwater may pass through one section of the heat-exchanger from the feed heaters, and through another section from the boiler drum.
