Abstract

359,099. Heating by steam circulation. GILLI, P., 57, Br³nnerstrasse, Floridsdorf, Vienna. Aug. 12, 1930, No. 24120. [Classes 64 (ii) and 123 (ii).] In heating and drying &c. installations by means of high pressure steam, a steam generator 1, pump 8, superheater 2, and a heat exchanger 4 form a closed system in which the pump is arranged in the steam line leading from the generator to the superheater. In a second heat exchanger 9, the heating-coil 10 is supplied with wet steam. A byepass 12 enables superheated steam to be passed to the generator, and power steam may be withdrawn through a pipe 14; and a waste heat boiler may be included in the plant. In a modification, two superheaters are used so that saturated steam from the generator may be heated first by the hot steam issuing from the heat exchangers.
