[Class 64 (ii).] In a steam heated plant in which the condensate is returned to the boiler, a loop 16 is provided filled with water under pressure circulated by a pump 19 from one or several generators or from a steam accumulator 8 back to the generators, the discharge conduits 20, 201, 2011 from the steam heated apparatus being connected to the loop. The steam supplied from the generator 1 may be first expanded in an engine 5, a byepass 9 being provided to increase the supply if the exhaust of the engine be insufficient.
