Liquid - fuel furnaces.-In a furnace front, for use with liquid-fuel furnaces operating by natural draught and of the kind comprising an air-supply casing a of volute form surrounding e a c h burner g, the air enters each of the casings a through a downwardly - directed inlet arranged between the outer two convolutions and controlled by a damper d. Baffles e are provided within the casings a to direct the incoming air towards a register f surrounding the burner tube. Fig. 3 shows the invention applied to a three-furnace boiler, the three casings a being connected by plates o and side plates p being provided to direct the air to the respective inlets.
