Baffles.-A baffle for the flues of Cornish and like boilers is arranged behind the fire-bridge to form. a combustion chamber and is provided on its circumference with recesses C' - - C<4> forming with the flue D passages for the gases. Additional tapered gas passages B<1> - - B<5> are also provided in the baffle which is made in four sections having overlapping joints. Specification 4347/02 is referred to.
