609,835. Air heaters. VICARD, P. G. Feb. 28, 1946, No. 6275. Convention date, April 11, 1941. [Class 64(i)] In a hot air stove the hot gases produced in a combustion chamber a having double walls pass through a primary heat exchanger b and on issuing therefrom are led around the combustion chamber in the space c between its double walls and pass then to a secondary heat exchanger d before being expelled into the atmosphere, the exchangers having smooth internal and winged external walls grouped in a casing g through which passes the air to be heated. The fumes are normally drawn through the exchangers by a fan f connected to the smoke collector e.
