Class 64(1) In an air heating stove in which air is forced by a blower 10 over heat exchanger tubes 19 in contraflow to a stream of hot gases emanating from a liquid-fired combustion chamber 20 and drawn through the heat exchanger tubes by a suction fan 12, the fuel pump 4, suction fan 12 and the air blower 10 are driven by a common motor 2 and the axes of the blower 10, suction fan 12, motor 2 and combustion chamber 20 are parallel to one another. In the apparatus shown, combustion air is drawn through grills 22, 23 to a chamber 24 from which it enters the combustion chamber. Heated air is discharged from the apparatus through an outlet 21.
