575,813. Air-heating stoves. JONES, B. B. April 11, 1944, No. 6616. [Class 64 (iii)] [Also in Group XI] An open fireplace, having a down draught main grate 4 and an updraught secondary grate 6 on which are consumed any particles of unburnt fuel falling from the main grate, is surrounded by an air-heating casing 17 from which the hot air may either pass to the room through an outlet 21 or be led off by pipes for use in other apartments. A water tray 23 for moistening the heated air is arranged adjacent the outlet 21.
