[Class 64 (i)] [See also Group XI] In a stove having a helical air-heating passage 2 in an annular jacket around the combustion chamber, the helical passage is formed by ribs 34 which are integral with the wall of the combustion chamber and which abut against the outer wall of the jacket. Further ribs 33 on the wall of the combustion chamber project into the air-heating passage. Air is forced or drawn through the passage by a fan 1, which also supplies air to conduits 13, 7 opening beneath and above the grate, and to a conduit 9 opening into the chimney 11 to induce a draught.
