Open fire-places.-A self-contained stove comprises an open fire-pot f and two flue pipes h<1>, h<2> arranged within a casing preferably having an open-work front, both flue pipes communicating with a common pipe j leading to the chimney. The fire-pot is open at the front and beneath, and is preferably partly spherical in shape; it may be made in one piece with the branches leading to the flue pipes. A vertical dividing-member may be fitted in the common pipe, as shown in dotted lines ; it may be carried on a removable cap at the front.
