Fire-places; kitchen ranges; boilers, arrangement of; grates.-An open fire-place or kitchen range is fitted with a boiler consisting of a tube formed into a rectangular, round, oval, or like loop, Fig. 4, which is set in the fire-place as shown in Fig. 2 with a portion 3 below the grate. The upper part of the boiler is spaced from the back of the fire-place by brackets or the like 7. The upper parts of the boilers may be protected by sleeves or " collars " 8, which may be separate from the brackets 7, or may be combined with them, as shown in the upper and lower parts of Fig. 4 respectively. The circulating-pipes are connected to the parts 6.
