Air-heating stoves.- A T-shaped or like air passage in a closed solid - fuel stove is formed by one or more vertical pipes g and onc or more horizontal pipes h, which have gauzecovered outlets l in the sides of the stove or may be extended to other rooms. The ash-pan b is made in two separate parts, as shown in Fig. 3, loosely surrounding the pipe g. A baffle m is placed beneath the inlet of the pipe g. The tube g may be placed at the back of the fire; in this case the ash-pan need not be divided.
