Abstract

543,820. Air-heating stoves. JONES, W. D., and LIGGINS, F. L. April 1, 1941, No. 4344. [Class 64 (i)] Air flows around vertical tubes 8 through which hot gases pass from a firebox 2 to a hood 4 carrying a flue pipe 15. The air is supplied to the bottom of the heater by a fan 16 and is directed through the heater in a sinuous path by baffles 14. The firebox, heater and hood are constructed separately from sheet metal and are bolted or riveted together.
