126,183. Rutter, J. M. May 25, 1918. Air, heating; ventilating conduits and pipes, arrangement of. - The flue pipes P leading from domestic stoves and the like are enclosed in a fireproof casing c similar to an ordinary chimney breast, constructed of asbestos, uralite, or like sheeting. Air may be admitted from outside or otherwise into this casing and delivered in a warm state to the room or rooms through which the casing passes by means of regulable apertures. The flue pipes may be of metal or earthenware, and secured to the wall as shown, and several flue pipes may be enclosed in one casing. The casing may be foursided and independent of the wall.
