Ventilating - conduits; air, heating.-The flue 3 from a stove or fireplace of special construction passes up the usual brickwork chimney to a convenient point, where the end of it is jointed to the chimney at 5. The intervening space forms an air-heating conduit, with a regulator 7 for the discharge of hot air. Cold air is admitted to the lower part through an opening (not shown).
