Air-heating stoves; sighting interior. - A stove for heating buildings by hot air comprises inner and outer shells a, e with alternating ribs d, f between which pass the gases from a gaseous or liquid fuel burner h. The gases subsequently pass through a radiator consisting of connected inner and outer annular chambers n, u. The air passes up between the outer shell e and an outer casing g and is further heated in the annular space r between the radiator chamber n, u, the area of the latter space being greater than that between the lower portion of the casing and the outer shell. Air is also admitted to the space t in the inner shell, which is preferably lined with heat-retaining material such as fire-clay, bricks or the like. An inspection window l allows the burner to be observed from above. Specification 201,205 is referred to.
