Air-heating fittings.-An air. heating conduit or tube a is at. tached to the grate of an open fire-place by flanges b, c or other means, and is fitted with removable extensions c and with a rotatable nozzle d by means of which the heated air may be delivered to the room at various heights; it may be delivered to the fire-place by removing the extension e and placing the nozzle d, directed towards the flue, upon the conduit a. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 1144/73, 722/07, 14536/15, and 119,326.
