[Class 51 (i)] [Also in Group XXIX] A thermostatically-actuated damper foi the flue of a solid-fuel stove or boiler 10 comprises a plate 17 extending completely across the flue and directly attached to and supported by one end of a bi-metallic strip 18 which is bent to the shape shown and secured at 20 to the wall of the flue. The damper plate is preferably of elliptical form so that in the closed position small spaces are left at each side and is mounted in a casing 15 attached by means of rings 22, 25 to the main flue-pipe sections 14, 16. A handoperated damper 12 is fitted in the elbow 11.
