537,123. Air heating furnaces. BRYDEN, J. Dec. 8, 1939; No. 31757. [Class 64 (i)] In an air heating furnace the incoming air is directed through cowling 12 around the sides and crown of the combustion chamber 1 and then through tubes 6 arranged in groups, in some of which the tubes are staggered and in others non-staggered. Air is also directed into the tubes through a surrounding casing 27.
