[Class 51 (ii)] In a crematory furnace of the kind described in Specification 460,766 which includes an electrically-heated smoke combustion chamber and a recuperator for heating the primary air supply to the incinerating-chamber, a controllable supply of secondary air is admitted to the smoke combustion chamber. The secondary air may be preheated in the recuperator or may be supplied cold from a connection to the air main between the fan and the recuperator.
