Class 64(1) In an air heater in which the air is impelled by a fan 5 between a heatinsulated outer casing 2 and a longitudinally corrugated inner casing 3, the interior of the latter is divided into a combustion chamber 9 and a h e a t exchange chamber 15 by a transverse partition 11 of such size that the hot gases must pass through the corrugations. A second partition 14 of the same size is provided near the top of the chamber 15. The partitions may be made in sections for easy removal. The part of the inner casing 3 around the combustion chamber 9 may have fins along the corrugations.
