Abstract

198,006. British Thomson - Houston Co., Ltd., and Young, A. P. Jan. 25, 1922. Inductor machines.- The inductors 2, 3 of a magneto are arranged to rotate between the polepieces 5 of an induction coil 10 and are energized by annular poles 4 to which are connected one or more flat bar magnets 9. The casing 6 may be made of aluminium or of an insulating condensation product &c., and the space between the inductors may be filled with similar material to form a cylindrical rotor. The magnetic parts are preferably laminated. Specification 171,145 is referred to.
